Email Marketing

With an excellent return on investment (for every $1 spent on email marketing, the average return is $42), you’d be wise to make email marketing a key part of your marketing strategy. Unlike an audience on social media, your email list belongs to you.

Since you have ability to personalise your approach based on what you know about each beautiful human on your email list, email marketing is truly the number 1 way to nurture the relationship you have with your audience and make relevant offers to them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which email marketing platforms do you work with?

I have recent experience with Mailchimp, Mailerlite, Kit (previously ConvertKit), and Systeme.io, plus some less-recent experience with ActiveCampaign and Campaign Monitor.

Since the principles are the same across all platforms, if you’re working with something different, there’s a good chance I can still help.

If you’re happy with your current platform, I’ll gladly work with it. But if you’re wondering whether a move to another platform could be better for your needs, I can help you assess that.

Do you handle the DNS configuration?

Yes, absolutely! If you’re happy to give me access to your DNS control panel, I can ensure that your DNS records are set up correctly. When they are, it’ll improve email deliverability—which is super important!

What data will we track?

This can be customised to take into account your goals and what you care about, but as standard I will keep a close eye on:

  • Open and click-through rates, aiming for above-average percentages.
  • Bounce and unsubscribe rates, aiming to keep these super low.
  • Opt-ins that happen as a direct result of your email marketing.
  • Sales that happen as a direct result of your email marketing.

All of this data can help guide the email strategy I’ll recommend and, importantly, sales tracking will allow you to see very clearly what your return on investment is.
